HELPING OTHERS
My father who was an orphan taught me early in life you do
not have to travel to the other side of the world to find others in need. He
would say, “Just look around you Phillip, you will find many in need within a
mile radius of where you are right now.” He practiced what he taught and always
found others to help quite near him, and saw the immediate result of his
helping. I have found great joy in this practice in my life.
